Cicada Hunt!
Here's where at least one cicada
killer wasp made its burrow

Ethan found the burrow on his way home
from Kindergarten. The wasp had excavated
in recently dug-up soil next to our new curb.
Ethan even got to see the wasp drag a cicada
down into the burrow! (Too bad we didn't have
a camera with us that morning.)
Daddy came back later and waited by the
entrance until the female wasp came out.
Here's what he saw:
Good
hunting, Mommy Wasp!
