Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy a display board for my project?  Display boards may be purchased at many office supply and craft stores.  They are sometimes called "project boards," and they may cost $5 to $12.  In the Oak Park area, look for display boards at  Bright Ideas on South Oak Park Ave., Michael's craft store in North Riverside, and Office Depot in Cermak Plaza.

You can also make your own display board by taping together two or three pieces of poster board.  (If your homemade board is a bit floppy, try gluing it to a corrugated cardboard backing.)

If you have other questions about the fair, please e-mail them to Eric at  Webmaster@SaltTheSandbox.org.

We'll e-mail you a personalized answer to your question, and then post a more generalized version of the question and answer on this page.
