Redpoll images from our feeders
in south Oak Park, Illinois

These photos were taken on February 22, 2008.  (Sorry for the quality -- we have a
cheap digital camera and an unsteady tripod.)

The next three images are of the same bird, showing undertail coverts, head,
bill, chest, and part of the upper neck.  We are guessing that it's a Hoary Redpoll.

This next photo is of a different bird -- perhaps a male Hoary Redpoll?  It's the only photo
we have of this bird.  What do you think?  E-mail us at Webmaster@SaltTheSandbox.org
